Alight

I started this in Perth, Western Australia. Affectionately known as a “big country town,” economic growth fuelling rapid migration has meant that Perth is growing into a “real city” faster than expected. This work is about finding that latent isolation in the city, and how the abundance of light, whether natural or artificial, illuminates that isolation in concert with the shadows that persist in urban areas.
