Day 20 of 100, Doha, Qatar
We transited in Hamad International Airport, landing before the day broke. I hadn’t flown Qatar Airways since it had been completed, and getting to the mostly white-boarded terminal from the plane involved a 20 to 30 minute bus ride.
The new airport is vast. Magnificent in its shiny newness, particularly in the 30 minute span where darkness lifts, and desert gold winds itself around angled glass and steel columns. That kind of light that reminds you why you take pictures, particularly when there’s a willing (if somewhat tired) subject close at hand.
