Berlin #2

Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

Day 51 of 100, Berlin, Germany

Two days ago, we were sitting on the terrace of my cousin and husband’s lovely home, having drinks on the terrace, getting toasted. I hadn’t counted on a 15 degree plunge and teeth-jarring wind chill, so was a vital warming layer short. We walked all day long, fast, to keep the heat up while getting a feel for the city. 2 pictures, because I’m tired, cold and hankering for my rum.

Heading home on the U-Bahn, Berlin.
