Day 57 of 100, Germany to Denmark
Back on the train. I enjoy this particular rail journey more than I can say, even having done it about 6 times in as many weeks. We’ve been doing them first class, because on the route we travel, it doesn’t cost that much more than 2nd, and is a heckuvalot more comfortable, especially if you’re carrying as much as we are.
I could get used to this first class business.
The warm spell that greeted us in Hannover when we returned from Berlin, didn’t last very long. It’s chilly and wet as we chug away from Hannover central station, and it gets greyer and wetter, the further north we go. It’s 8 degrees in Aalborg, where we’re headed. With wind chill, the effective temperature is probably -20 or something. Ok, I might be exaggerating, but only a little!
This may be the best Flemming reflection you’ve yet produced. Just wonderful… almost as if he’s time traveling before our eyes. :-)
I kind of fell behind with the posts here, but the Berlin images were astounding. I have a particular fondness for the geometrics and that Bresson like shot thru the wall … off the scale!
Greg, it’s not you falling behind, I promise. I tend to write and publish all these posts in one hit… the last slew of publishing was about 2 weeks worth of posts. It’s a habit I’m trying to break, but by the time I nail it, the 100 days will be over :D
It is so fantastic.
