Other plans

Day 65 of 100, northern Jutland, Denmark

Sometimes I forget I’m supposed to be making the most out of living. I’ve been stuck in a holding pattern for months now, moving countries (Singapore → Denmark ↔ ↔ ↔ ↔ Germany → ?) every week due to circumstances neither of us anticipated, while we were planning to do something else altogether.

I’ve been waiting for things to calm down so I can find the pattern of daily life in all these places to work around. That hasn’t happened though, so I’ve been making lists of things to do as agitation, places to go, tasks to complete, projects to start, things to learn… it goes on.

And then this morning, it dawns on me – it’s the 21st of April. Somehow, a third of the year, gone.

Lennon – or Saunders, as it turns out – was right. Life is what happens to us while we are busy making other plans.

Ain’t that the truth! It feels like 2017 just started. I need to figure out how to be a time lord, so I can have 48 hour days….or a week of Sundays.

Heh, a 48 hour day would kill me. I like 24 just fine… now to just get cracking despite what happens in the 24…

    TARDIS. Please.
