Day 69 of 100, northern Jutland, Denmark
We’ve had several days of sunshine (madness!!!) and bone chilling gale out here in the northerly reaches of the Jutland peninsula. One could be forgiven for thinking that it’s actually spring.
This morning though, rain gathered and broke just past dawn. It was a momentary spell, before the sun fought its way out. I’ve only noticed now, with the unclouding of the sky, how long the days have become. It’s full-blaze day by the time I wake at 7.30 or 8, and still a deep indigo at 10pm.
I’ve come to appreciate the sombre drear of these days though. Armed with a proper winter jacket (tusind tak for din jakke Flemmings far!), I find myself keen to go looking for clouds.
