Frills and flocks

Day 88 of 100, Nordjylland, Danmark

I’ve never been on so many family outings as I do when hanging around with Flemming’s father.

A bunch of us went to the Stone Age museum at Ertebølle on Sunday – Flemming, his dad, his sister, me, their cousin, his wife, and their two little girls. Little Danish girls are pretty cool. They’ll wear frills and ribbons in their hair, but they’ll also play football, climb hills, run around with sheep (the little one did, anyway, in her red jacket and Storm Trooper pants), slide in dirt, and study flint weapons and prehistorical pottery. In aforementioned ruffles and bows. Take that, boys!
