What’s the story morning glory?

I went to listen to a talk by photojournalist Walter Astrada some nights ago, held at the local center for photography and film.

The talk started off with a small selection of his past twenty years documenting conflict around the globe, then moved on to his current project: travelling the world on a motorcycle.

What I remember best, was his comment about the writing.

I’ve forgotten his exact words now, but I will paraphrase: He used to post more frequently on his trip log, but the writing dwindled over time. When you visit a new place for a week, you can write a novel. A month, maybe an article. A year… what do you write?

Every moment a thread, fraying from the last, and the one before that, not forgetting all the ones before those. What’s the story?
