Day 35 of 100, Nordjylland, Danmark

I was trapped indoors all of yesterday by the gloom and drizzle, which I expect in Denmark at this time of the year. The last time we were here in Jutland, it was October, and grey the entire time. I was half asleep the entire time.

So I wasn’t anticipating any sunshine right around now, and have been pleasantly surprised about the sun making short appearances since we’ve been back. This particular evening flared with the fury of summer denied. a clarion call to the warming, despite the marrow-freezing wind denying its arrival.

    first day of Spring –
    the chill wind sends sunlight
    through your bones

Since you dropped the ball on the haiku thing, thought I’d “help”… ;-)

Ah Greg, that was beautiful. Why aren’t you doing a hundred days of haiku?
